About Laura
Author • Advocate • Storyteller • Believer in the Extraordinary Worth of Every Person
Growing up, Laura always felt a deep desire to help others. Life, however, introduced its own challenges.
As a teenager, she developed a severe skin condition that left much of her face scarred. She experienced bullying, ridicule, and cruelty that challenged her sense of self-worth.
Rather than allowing those experiences to define her, Laura became fascinated by stories of resilience—stories of people who endured unimaginable hardships yet refused to surrender hope.
Books like Man's Search for Meaning helped shape her understanding of what allows some people to persevere while others lose hope.
Later, raising a son with autism brought a new perspective. Hearing others question his value profoundly affected her and strengthened her lifelong conviction:
Every human being possesses immeasurable worth.
Today, Laura writes stories that celebrate compassion, inclusion, hope, and the limitless resilience of the human spirit.
